The more I learned about this breed the more I fell in love with them.  My first Cavalier Charlie, was Tri-Colour Boy.  The more I learned about Charlie and the Cavalier breed the more I fell in love with them.  He has such an unusual sweet temperament and was quite social so we decided to obtain a female companion for him….we ended up with two female puppies!  After that we made the decision to breed with Cavaliers.

About Cavalier Health

Any breed of dog has health issues that are specific to them. In addition all dogs can be affected by general health issues. Our dogs are regularly health checked by our vets at Wilgepoort Animal Clinic in Villiers and HEART TESTS are done with Heart Specialist, Dr Carter at Fourways Veterinary, Sandton.
We do MRI for syringomyelia at Val de Grace Animal Hospital, Pretoria, Dr Robert – Wilgers Hospital.

Commitment to our Puppy health

Our aim is to breed sound, healthy beautiful dogs that are a pleasure to own.  All of our pups are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and introduced to the concept of house training before leaving us. Litters are always raised in our home, with loving care and attention given to Mum and her babies.  Puppies are always KUSA registered.   Puppies are occasionally available to loving, caring homes.

KUSA is a voluntary association comprising of members on whose behalf KUSA maintains the registers and records of ancestry and health test results.

Whilst Members are expected to adhere to a code of ethics, KUSA cannot guarantee that any registered dog or subsequent progeny are free from any inheritable conditions nor any standard of quality or performance. Therefore, it is imperative that you do thorough research and an in-person visit to any breeder before purchasing a puppy.

NB: Please always have a contract drawn up with the breeder when purchasing a puppy as KUSA does not get involved in any disputes.
