Tugela River Lodge is a self-catering eco lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We use solar power and gas to run our lodge and are completely off the grid.
In the shadow of the famous Anglo-Boer Battlefield of Spionkop, this picturesque and pet friendly accommodation is the ideal place for singles, couples, a family weekend, or a large group get together. We have a total of 27 beds in stand alone cottages which can be booked either as the Main Lodge – a 10 to 14 bed set up, the Hideaway – a 5 sleeper, the Rapids – 4 sleeper, the River House – 4 sleeper and Kingfisher Cottage – 4 sleeper.
