Savannalands, situated at The Crags in the heart of the Garden Route, is a pet haven lovingly managed by Heather Hiscox, assisted by Inge Oelofsen, and occasionally supported by my husband, Stuart, all dedicated animal enthusiasts. Our smallholding, where we reside, is home to us and our vibrant family of 15 Golden Retrievers, a Siamese cat, and two adorable kittens.

Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Plettenberg Bay and a 40-minute drive from Knysna towards Port Elizabeth, we inaugurated Savannalands in December 2010, welcoming a fully booked high season and earning loyal clientele ever since. Our ethos revolves around offering tranquil, upscale country accommodations for cherished cats and dogs amid stunning surroundings, ensuring they receive the utmost care and attention.

Our canine guests enjoy three off-leash walks daily within a vast, safely enclosed area, fostering boundless running and playful freedom. Many pups eagerly anticipate their return, often showing excitement on their next visit, a testament to the joy they experience here.

The Kennels & Cattery adhere to international standards, prioritizing your pet’s comfort and minimizing stress during their stay. We provide spacious, secure indoor/outdoor runs for both dogs and cats, designed to create a stress-free environment.

Your pet’s nutritional needs are met with premium food, and we have a vet on call 24/7, ensuring their well-being around the clock.
