Following suit of the Parys countryside theme, River Rock Lodge is comfortably located en route to or from Bloemfontein and an hour’s drive from Johannesburg.

River Rock Lodge is situated on a branch of the Vaal River, and only five minutes from town center. Our estate is 10HA in size, with three untouched islands before the mainstream to explore. An angler’s dream hideaway! In the mornings you will be greeted by the songs of birds and mesmerized by the echo of the Fish Eagle throughout the day. If you’re lucky, you might see a troop of monkeys swinging and playing as they make their way towards the mountains. ‘
