“The menu at Café Picobella Trattoria focuses on Italian country style cuisine. Starter recommendations are the roasted butternut and gorgonzola pot – butternut with sage, gorgonzola and black mushroom served in a puff pastry pot (ideal for vegetarians), or the calamari ripleni – calamari stuffed with a spicy combination of braised lemon, tomato and risotto rice. For a very traditional Italian starter try the anti pasti platter which is available in both meat and vegetarian options. For main course the pork a la milanese (crumbed pork chops with mash) is a firm favourite with regulars, as is the house speciality osso buco, which sells out whenever it’s on the menu! Café Picobella is also famous for its pizzas which are baked in a very stylish mosaic clad pizza oven. The unique style tiramisu or the polenta orange cake are both recommended for dessert”
