Opened in 2014 by brothers Adam & Joel Klein, Kleinsky’s blends traditional Jewish recipes with the best local ingredients to bring a slice of New York to Cape Town.
Their Sea Point store also serves as a gallery space for local artists. All of their breads & pastries are baked in store using traditional recipes & methods. Their bagels are hand-rolled, slow fermented overnight & boiled in malted water before baking. Their pastrami is made with beef brisket, brined then coated in a houseblend spice rub & smoked for several hours before serving.
