After working at Kimberley Veterinary Clinic under Dr Joseph van Heerden, Dr Donovan Smith and Dr Piet-Piet Swart decided it was time to take the bull by the horns. They bought the practice from the renowned Dr van Heerden and thanks to their continuous leadership, unbreakable spirit and utter dedication, the practice has only thrived since.

Dr Donovan Smith, their director, is bolstered by Dr Sherike van der Merwe, Dr Odette Burger, veterinary nurse Sr Anmari Coetzee, Xanri Kruger, an Animal Health Technician, and an impressive array of support staff that they simply cannot function without.

All their veterinarians lead with their own interest and speciality, thus enabling Kimberley Veterinary Clinic to offer health care to all animals ranging from hamsters to horses, birds of prey, rhinos, amphibians, cats and dogs. The list is endless.

Their unbridled passion and knowledge allows them to provide the best care possible.
