They are a dedicated wildlife ONLY veterinary hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. Their aim is to improve the quality of treatment, survival and success rate of rehabilitation of small to medium sized indigenous South African wildlife. They are the first of its kind in Gauteng and our vision is that our hospital will grow to such an extent that it will become a world class facility which will serve as a teaching hospital for veterinary students interested in treating wildlife.
All treatment of wildlife is free of charge and we rely solely on the support of our community and corporate sponsors.

Johannesburg Wildlife Vet is a Non-Profit Company (NPC) and a Public Benefits Organisation (PBO). We rely on the generosity and support from our community. While we are a specialist team, we regularly work alongside additional specialists to ensure that we give the best care possible to our patients. These vet bills along with the day-to-day running costs add up, and we could not save our wildlife without community support. No amount is too small, and we appreciate any donation that can contribute to keeping our wildlife wild!
