De Oude Kraal, a 5th generation Merino farm located 35km south of Bloemfontein on the N1, offers a luxurious farm experience. Owned by Gerhard & Marie Lombard, the 4-star Graded Country House boasts upscale accommodation, fine dining, spa facilities, outdoor activities, a curio shop, and a function venue.

We offer our Outdoor activities to all guests to share our beautiful nature with them. Explore the farm on horseback, walking trail, wagon & tractor during our sunset ride or have a guided Farm Safari where you are told more about the farming activities and the history. We have a swimming pool, target shooting activities, bird watching and stargazing on offer as well.
