Immersing yourself in the beauty of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park is an unparalleled experience, and there’s truly no better way to do it than from the back of a horse with Bhangazi Horse Safaris. We cater to both beginners and experienced riders, ensuring everyone can partake in this extraordinary adventure.

Bush Rides (1 hour or 2 hours):
Explore the Southern end of the Eastern Shores section of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park on our bush rides. Ride alongside Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, Impala, and other plains games. Catch glimpses of the elusive Leopard, and perhaps witness Buffalo & Elephant in the distance.

Beach and Bush Combo Rides (2.5 hours):
Take the horses to the ocean, heading either North towards First Rocks or South towards Lake St Lucia. During the whale season (June to Nov), you might even spot Humpback Whales breaching in the deeper waters. The second part of the ride allows you to traverse the savanna, riding among various animals such as Zebra, Wildebeest, and warthogs.

Regrettably, we no longer offer standalone 1-hour beach rides. However, those yearning for a beach experience can book the Beach & Bush Combo Ride, ensuring a diverse and memorable equestrian adventure.
