Not only will it keep your dog looking beautiful, but it will help to strengthen the bond between you. Certain breeds have different pet care needs, and you should speak to your vet for specific grooming tips for your dog.
Brushing
Ask your vet or breeder how often you should brush your dog’s coat. Short-haired breeds only need to be brushed once a week, but longer haired ones may need daily attention. As you brush, keep a look out for ticks, burrs, blackjacks and grass seeds. Don’t forget the paws and tail!
Bathing

There are many dog parlours and mobile dog groomers out there. Ask your vet or breeder for recommendations before choosing one. Mobile groomers are a fantastic choice for nervous dogs, as they come to your home and take care of your dog in his/her own environment.
