The Dauphin House
The property, now known as The Dauphin House (Pty) Ltd, was originally constructed in the 1930s, with completion around 1932. It has been updated several times over the years, most recently in 2023 under its current ownership. The Dauphin House stands on land that was once part of Doornfontein, which included 20 farms. The Bezuidenhout Family built their farmhouse, Bezuidenhout Park, on this land in 1863, which is now the site of Urania Village.
