The farm and its structures underwent expansion over several decades under the direction of Mr. Cosnett and a Basotho mason identified only as Limakatso. All the sandstone used in the construction was extracted by blasting from the nearby cliffs, and the wooden beams utilized were sourced from the surrounding poplar forest.
