Kay and Monty Vineyards are situated in the heart of the scenic Plett Winelands, only a 25-minute drive from Plettenberg Bay itself.

Originally two protea farms named Rondebosch & Redford, they were purchased in 2004 by owner Chick Legh, an enthusiastic polo player, and later transformed into a polo estate. The first vines were planted in 2008, yielding their initial vintages in 2012. In loving memory of his parents, Kay & Monty, Chick decided to name the vineyard. Today, the farm is owned by Chick’s daughter, Steph.
