Rivierzicht River Resort
In the heart of the Robertson Valley, between vineyards and orchards, lies the Rivierzicht River Resort on the Breede River, 13km before Robertson. Rivier River Resort is a pet-friendly camping site in the Western Cape. There are so many activities to do at Rivierzicht River Resort; you can go fishing, kayaking, bird watching, swimming, hiking, or horseback riding. They have different accommodations: self-contained cabins, tented apartments or traditional campsites along the Breede River, where you can enjoy the quiet and peaceful natural environment. They are dog friendly, but your dog must be well-behaved and kept away from the bed and furniture if you choose a cabin.

Umshanti
Umshanti is peaceful, tranquil, and exciting, and it is one of the best camping sites in the Western Cape. This camp is so popular that you have to book months in advance, and best of all, no day visitors are allowed. Umshanti is only 9 km from the historic town of Swellendam and approximately 250 km from Cape Town. The picturesque Langeberg surrounds Umshanti in the background. You can go on a boat cruise with the whole family at Umshanti. You can bring your boat or go on the Kosie se Boot, a double-decker boat that crosses the Buffelsjag Dam. It has an open terrace with a braai, bar and toilets and can accommodate up to 35 people. Other activities include horse riding, cycling, wine tasting, mountain biking and much more. Pets are allowed at Umshanti on request.

Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort
The family-orientated Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort provides beautiful shady, grassed, paved caravan and camping sites with electrical points and three ablutions facilities. Sculleries and coin-operated laundries are also provided for the convenience of their guests. Dogs are welcome on Caravan and Camping sites only, however, they must be kept under strict control and are not to chase poultry and other livestock. A maximum of 2 dogs per site are allowed.
